Greetings All:
The clues for our first Arizona letter box can be found at our website:
http://members.tripod.com/lane.t/grid1.html
The box is in the Superstition Mountains west of Phoenix at the top of
a butte called the flatiron. Along with the usual concerns about hiking in
the Sonoran Desert this particular trail is pretty rough and steep. But we
made it and if you give yourself sufficient time we think that any reasonably
fit person can do it. The rewards (aside from a rubber stamp) are
considerable as the view from the top is lovely.
I think that this may be the first permanent letterbox in AZ. It was planted
on 12.29.99.
We planted a second box in Arizona and will be posting those clues soon.
Good Hunting!

Way to go Todd and Pam! Another reason for us to make the trek to AZ
(besides our fascination with genealogy)!

Tod and Pam:
Congrats on your (and I assume LBNA's first) AZ letterboxes. Way to go!
